The key idea of the so-called SDR function board is to build an open, standardized and modular general hardware platform. Its various functions, such as working frequency band, modulation and demodulation type, data format, encryption mode and communication protocol, etc., are realized by software to develop a new generation of software function board with high flexibility and openness. In other words, this platform can be controlled and redefined by software and different functions can be realized with different software modules; moreover, the software can be upgraded and updated. Its hardware can also be constantly updated and upgraded for the module and version like a computer. The functions of software radio are realized by software, so new services or modulation methods can be realized only by adding a new software module. In addition, the software radio can form various modulation waveforms and communication navigation radar protocols, and also can be compatible with various radio device of the old system, which greatly prolongs the service cycle of the radio equipment used in the old system and saves the cost.

a) Basic algorithm library of radio communication: source coding and decoding, channel coding and decoding, frame synchronization & unframing, synchronization algorithm, digital filter, up-sampling and down-sampling, Lagrange interpolation, etc.
b) Four basic waveform algorithm libraries: Basic algorithm library of incoherent digital modulation waveform, basic algorithm library of coherent digital modulation waveform, CDMA basic algorithm library and OFDM basic algorithm library.
