| Product Overview
KSW-WNS01 Wireless Channel Emulator, namely RF switching network cabinet, is mainly used to cooperate with the whole system for function and process testing, to realize joint system testing and commissioning as well as initial system validation. The Wireless Network Emulator features simple configuration, easy test organization, and high cost performance. As a concrete connection in the physical layer, it realizes RF channel interconnection and power attenuation. According to different testing demands, KSW-WNS01 is able to break through the bandwidth limitations of the test equipment, and construct a variety of user-defined wireless network topologies to achieve various ways of connection:
1) Single point-to-multipoint RF channel connection with single broadcast network;
2) Multiple point-to-multipoint RF channel connection with multiple broadcast networks;
3) Single point-to-point RF channel connection;
4) Multiple point-to-point RF channel connection;
KSW-WNS01 Wireless Channel Emulator consists of the following two parts:
1) Signal conditioning: firstly, condition the power of I/O signal of external duplex interface; secondly, realize isolation of input signal and output signal by a high isolation directional coupler, i.e. duplex function;
2) 20x20 matrix switching: Consist of 20 19-way power dividers and 19x20 0.1dB/90dB programmable attenuator, which can timely update the attenuation value between any units under test according to the set topology to ensure the dynamic characteristics of the static simulation in wireless network environment.
The topology of KSW-WNS01 Wireless Channel Emulator can be edited in the following two ways:
1) Topology editor: KSW-WNS01 Wireless Channel Emulator provides a topology editor. After editing a topology, users can save it and download it to the hardware platform of KSW-WNS01 Wireless Channel Emulator when necessary to implement the customized topology;
2) External controller: The external equipment can timely set the following topological parameters of the KSW-WNS01 Wireless Channel Emulator via the Ethernet port:
a) 20×20 matrix switching parameters;
b) Output signal power.
